To clarify the profound paradox presented in the previous verses, Krishna offers a tangible analogy. He explains that just as (yathā) the vast, mighty wind (vāyuḥ mahān) blowing universally everywhere (sarvatra-go) is perpetually situated and resting within the sky or ethereal space (ākāśa-sthito nityaṃ), in that exact same way (tathā), one must understand and conclude (upadhāraya) that all created beings (sarvāṇi bhūtāni) rest within Him (mat-sthāni).
