He is the ultimate destination or goal (gatiḥ), the maintainer (bhartā), the sovereign master (prabhuḥ), the silent witness (sākṣī), the dwelling place or abode (nivāsaḥ), the ultimate shelter or refuge (śaraṇaṃ), and the dearest, most intimate friend (suhṛt). Cosmically, He is the origin/creation (prabhavaḥ), the dissolution (pralayaḥ), the foundation (sthānaṃ), the resting place or treasure house (nidhānaṃ), and the imperishable, eternal seed of all existence (bījam avyayam).
