Krishna firmly unifies the dualistic model established in the previous verses. He commands Arjuna: You must understand and know for certain (ity upadhāraya) that absolutely all created entities and beings (bhūtāni sarvāṇi) have these two natures—matter and consciousness—as their source or womb (etad-yonīni). Because both of these natures emanate from Me, I alone am the ultimate origin and generator (ahaṃ prabhavaḥ), as well as the ultimate dissolution and destroyer (pralayas tathā), of the entire, complete universe (kṛtsnasya jagataḥ).
