Historical Context

The Direct Meaning

Krishna takes the universal vision of Verse 29 and makes it profoundly personal, offering the ultimate guarantee of Divine protection. He declares: For the person who truly sees Me (the Supreme Lord) everywhere and in all things (yo māṃ paśyati sarvatra), and who sees absolutely everything existing within Me (sarvaṃ ca mayi paśyati)—for that specific person, I am never lost, invisible, or destroyed (tasyāhaṃ na praṇaśyāmi). And in return, that person is absolutely never lost to Me (sa ca me na praṇaśyati).
