Krishna immediately answers Arjuna's demand for a definitive choice. He begins by validating both paths: Both the renunciation of action (sannyāsaḥ) and the Yoga of action (karma-yogaś ca) lead to the ultimate supreme good and liberation (niḥśreyasa-karāv ubhau).
