Ch 4Verse 35
Adhyāya 4 Shloka 35

यज्ज्ञात्वा न पुनर्मोहमेवं यास्यसि पाण्डव | येन भूतान्यशेषाणि द्रक्ष्यस्यात्मन्यथो मयि || ३५ ||

yaj jñātvā na punar moham evaṃ yāsyasi pāṇḍava | yena bhūtāny aśeṣāṇi drakṣyasy ātmany atho mayi || 35 ||

"Having obtained real knowledge from a self-realized soul, you will never fall again into such illusion, for by this knowledge you will see that all living beings are but part of the Supreme, or, in other words, that they are Mine."

Historical Context

The Direct Meaning

Krishna reveals the staggering psychological result of receiving the knowledge described in Verse 34. He promises Arjuna (Pāṇḍava): Once you have truly known and realized this truth (yaj jñātvā), you will never again fall into this kind of illusion, grief, or bewilderment (na punar moham evaṃ yāsyasi). Why? Because by this knowledge (yena), you will clearly see (drakṣyasi) that all living beings without exception (bhūtāny aśeṣāṇi) are situated within your own Self (ātmani), and consequently, they are all situated within Me, the Supreme (atho mayi).
