Ch 3Verse 30
Adhyāya 3 Shloka 30

मयि सर्वाणि कर्माणि संन्यस्याध्यात्मचेतसा | निराशीर्निर्ममो भूत्वा युध्यस्व विगतज्वर: || ३० ||

mayi sarvāṇi karmāṇi sannyasyādhyātma-cetasā | nirāśīr nirmamo bhūtvā yudhyasva vigata-jvaraḥ || 30 ||

"Therefore, O Arjuna, surrendering all your works unto Me, with full knowledge of Me, without desires for profit, with no claims to proprietorship, and free from lethargy, fight."

Historical Context

The Direct Meaning

This is the ultimate, rallying command of Karma Yoga. Krishna synthesizes everything into one explosive verse. He commands Arjuna: Surrender absolutely all your actions unto Me (mayi sarvāṇi karmāṇi sannyasya) by keeping your consciousness fixed on the Supreme Self (adhyātma-cetasā). Having become completely free from the desire for future profit (nirāśīr) and completely devoid of the sense of 'mine' (nirmamo), cast off your mental fever and grief (vigata-jvaraḥ) and FIGHT (yudhyasva).
