Historical Context

The Direct Meaning

Arjuna gives his final, definitive answer to Krishna's question from verse 72. He declares that his illusion has been completely destroyed (naṣṭo mohaḥ) and his true memory/awareness has been regained (smṛtir labdhā). He credits this entirely to Krishna's grace (tvat-prasādān mayācyuta). He is now perfectly steady (sthito 'smi) and completely free from all doubts (gata-sandehaḥ). His final resolution is absolute surrender: 'I will execute Your order' (kariṣye vacanaṁ tava).
