Ch 18Verse 72
Adhyāya 18 Shloka 72

कच्चिदेतच्छ्रुतं पार्थ त्वयैकाग्रेण चेतसा | कच्चिदज्ञानसम्मोहः प्रनष्टस्ते धनञ्जय || ७२ ||

kaccid etac chrutaṁ pārtha tvayaikāgreṇa cetasā | kaccid ajñāna-sammohaḥ pranaṣṭas te dhanañjaya || 72 ||

"O son of Pṛthā, O conqueror of wealth, have you heard this with an attentive mind? And are your ignorance and illusions now dispelled?"

Historical Context

The Direct Meaning

The profound philosophical discourse ends with a deeply personal check-in. Krishna turns to Arjuna and asks two questions: 'O Partha, have you heard all of this with a fully focused and attentive mind (ekāgreṇa cetasā)?' And, 'O Dhananjaya, has the delusion born of your ignorance finally been destroyed and dispelled (ajñāna-sammohaḥ pranaṣṭas te)?'
