Krishna addresses the skepticism surrounding the previous verses about reincarnation. He bluntly states that the 'vimūḍhā' (the foolish or bewildered) simply cannot perceive (nānupaśyanti) this subtle process. They cannot see the soul leaving the body at death (utkrāmantaṁ), dwelling in the body (sthitaṁ), or enjoying the senses under the spell of the gunas (bhuñjānaṁ vā guṇānvitam). Who can see it? Only those who possess 'jñāna-cakṣuṣaḥ'—the eyes trained in true philosophical knowledge (paśyanti).
