Historical Context

The Direct Meaning

Krishna concludes this specific sub-section of Chapter 13. He summarizes that He has briefly described the 'field' (the 24 elements of matter), the process of 'knowledge' (the virtues like humility), and the 'knowable' (the Supersoul). He then states a strict condition: only His devoted servants (mad-bhakta) can deeply comprehend this and ultimately attain His spiritual nature (mad-bhāvāya).
