Sanjaya continues his awe-struck narration of Arjuna's vision. He states: At that exact moment (tadā), there (tatra), Arjuna, the son of Pandu (pāṇḍavaḥ), saw and perceived (apaśyad) the entire, complete cosmic universe (jagat kṛtsnaṃ). Although the universe is infinitely divided into many, many thousands of diverse planetary systems, dimensions, and manifestations (pravibhaktam anekadhā), Arjuna saw it all situated and resting completely in one single place (eka-sthaṃ)—directly within the physical body (śarīre) of the Supreme God of all gods (deva-devasya).
