Krishna reiterates and expands upon the previous verse to drive the point home beyond any doubt. He repeats that the soul is unbreakable (acchedyo), unburnable (adāhyo), insoluble (akledyo), and cannot be dried (aśoṣya). He then adds new, absolute qualifiers: the soul is Nityaḥ (everlasting), Sarva-gataḥ (all-pervading/present everywhere), Sthāṇuḥ (fixed/unchangeable like a pillar), Acalaḥ (immovable), and Sanātanaḥ (primeval/eternal).
