Ch 16Verse 19
Adhyāya 16 Shloka 19

तानहं द्विषतः क्रूरान्संसारेषु नराधमान् | क्षिपाम्यजस्रमशुभानासुरीष्वेव योनिषु || १९ ||

tān ahaṁ dviṣataḥ krūrān saṁsāreṣu narādhamān | kṣipāmy ajasram aśubhān āsurīṣv eva yoniṣu || 19 ||

"Those who are envious and mischievous, who are the lowest among men, I perpetually cast into the ocean of material existence, into various demoniac species of life."

Historical Context

The Direct Meaning

Krishna details the cosmic consequence for this extreme hostility. For those who are deeply envious, cruel (krūrān), and act as the lowest of mankind (narādhamān), Krishna personally orchestrates their trajectory. He continuously casts them (kṣipāmy ajasram) back into the turbulent ocean of material existence (saṁsāreṣu), specifically placing these inauspicious souls (aśubhān) into demoniac, degraded wombs and species (āsurīṣv eva yoniṣu).
