Ch 15Verse 19
Adhyāya 15 Shloka 19

यो मामेवमसम्मूढो जानाति पुरुषोत्तमम् | स सर्वविद्भजति मां सर्वभावेन भारत || १९ ||

yo mām evam asammūḍho jānāti puruṣottamam | sa sarva-vid bhajati māṁ sarva-bhāvena bhārata || 19 ||

"Whoever knows Me as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, without doubting, is the knower of everything. He therefore engages himself in full devotional service to Me, O son of Bharata."

Historical Context

The Direct Meaning

Krishna reveals the result of truly understanding the previous verse. Anyone who is completely unbewildered and free from doubt (asammūḍho), and who firmly knows (jānāti) Krishna as the Puruṣottamam (Supreme Person), is declared to be 'sarva-vid'—the knower of everything. Because they have grasped the ultimate truth, what is their natural response? They immediately engage in worshiping and serving Him (bhajati māṁ) with their entire being, in all respects (sarva-bhāvena).
