"The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Again I shall declare to you this supreme wisdom, the best of all knowledge, knowing which all the sages have attained the supreme perfection."

Historical Context

The Direct Meaning

Chapter 14 begins with Krishna re-engaging Arjuna. Having just explained the distinction between the body and the soul in Chapter 13, Krishna now promises to elevate this understanding even further. He declares that He will again speak (bhūyaḥ pravakṣyāmi) the 'best of all knowledge' (jñānānāṁ jñānam uttamam). He validates the power of this specific wisdom by stating that all great sages (munayaḥ sarve) who have understood it attained supreme perfection and liberation (parāṁ siddhim).
