Ch 13Verse 29
Adhyāya 13 Shloka 29

"One who sees the Supersoul equally present everywhere, in every living being, does not degrade himself by his mind. Thus he approaches the transcendental destination."

Historical Context

The Direct Meaning

Building on the previous verse, Krishna explains the result of this spiritual vision. When a person actually sees the Supreme Lord equally situated in every being (samavasthitam īśvaram), they stop committing violence against themselves (na hinasty ātmanātmānaṁ). Because they no longer degrade their own soul through the mind's illusions and hatreds, they naturally elevate to the highest transcendental destination (parāṁ gatim).
